TRS wins Silver at the Society of American Military Engineers Design Excellence Awards

TRS would like to recognize and thank our subcontractors on our team who worked closely with us on the ERH remediation at the East Gate Disposal Yard, Fort Lewis (EGDY) that made this project a success.

Since the beginning of the project in 2002, AMEC provided data base management, construction and sampling support, and they have been instrumental in supporting report preparation. CDM designed, constructed and provided operations and maintenance support of the liquid waste management system. CDM also provided site grading, excavation and construction support in NAPL Areas 2 and 3. Garry Struthers and Associates (GSA) provided site grading, excavation and construction support in NAPL Area 1. GSA also provided the environmental consultant who was responsible for reviewing the sampling and analysis procedures for NAPL Areas 1 and 2.

We would also like to thank Fort Lewis Public Works and the Seattle District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for working as part of the EGDY team.
